I TOTALLY GIVE ALL THE RIGHTS AND CREDIT FOR THIS GUIDE TO AN OLD FREIND "WILD-CAT-FANATIC" >>INTRODUCTION Everyone wants their own characters to show off to everyone. Most even drew or made sprites to show off, but what about their personallity or their age? Wouldn't you like to have a nice clean layout for describing your character? In this guide, you will find many different tips on how to successfully complete a Fan Character Profile. >>GETTING STARTED Most people just think a character needs to be related or have similar stats and abilities to an exsisting official character. That's not really the case if you want a nice origional character. If you are having trouble trying to think of a good character, try thinking of yourself. Most characters are best started off with basing it's personallity off of yourself or your friends. >>CHOOSING A SPECIES Having trouble chosing a species for your character? Try thinking of your favorite animal, or ask a friend what their favorite animal is and start branching off of there. If you want, you can even mix species of animals and make your character from two different species. Mixing species may not be very origional, but at least you have something to start your character off with. >>THINKING OF A NAME Names can be difficult to think of to fit your character's personallity or species. Try going on an online translater and typing in your character's species and using that name for your character. For example, the word 'gato' means 'cat' in Spanish, so if we have a cat character, we could name it 'Gato'. What ever you want to do with your character's name is entirely up to you. >>VISUAL LOOKS This is probably the most fun in creating a character; making a picture, showing your character's look and attire. Most characters are more origional with some type of clothing on, like a scarf or a hat. The more detail you put on your character, surely enough the more origonal your character will be. >>WRITING YOUR PROFILE This sounds tough, but if your really ready to start writing, go for it. There are many, but simple, steps that go into the progress of profile writting. Let's begin with your character's name, age, and gender. -->Name: Gato the Cat -->Age: 10 -->Gender: Female As you can see, you've already gotten down three stats for your character's profile. Now, let's continue with some more of our information. -->Name: Gato the Cat -->Age: 10 -->Gender: Female -->Species: Cat -->Appearence: /Place Your Picture Here/ The more you add, the better. Try describing your character's appearence instead of just showing a picture. -->Name: Gato the Cat -->Age: 10 -->Gender: Female -->Species: Cat -->Appearence: /Place Your Picture Here/ - Gato is a light brown cat with green eyes. She wears cowgirl boots and a cowgirl vest and hat. Going on with your information like Location, Likes/Dislikes, Personallity, History, Weapons, and anything else you want will really spark attention to your character |
