Anyone got one? I got one 2 years ago, broke the firmware on it TWICE and just got a new one the other day. Custom Firmware ROCKS! I can play ALL of my old PSone games on it, plus I have all the awesome homebrew apps and games. There is this DDR clone called PSPRevolution that makes me like DDR again. You can have custom songs so I found all my favorite songs for PSPR. Anyway, I'd post something nice, like screenshots of homebrew or a PSP or something but I'm going back to Megaman Legends 2 (Now its portable, yaaaay!). Oh yeah, my main menu looks like an iPhone-like thing. This is my main menu. Here is a normal one. Obviously that is just a picture so I can't show you how the normal volume, options, themes, ect stuff are, but you can tell how different it is already. |

I would like a PSP, But they're slightly out of my price rang.. considering I only have 50 dollars. Ok.. everything is currently out of my price range. But If I could swing it, I would love to get it. |

My friend has a PSP. I would consider getting one if it were cheaper and there were actually some good games out for it... |

You can live off of just a Custom Firmware PSP and a decent memory stick (like $30-$40). Right now you need this game Lumines to downgrade your PSP to 1.5 (from there you upgrade to a custom firmware). Well I have it, but it is burried in my dad's garage, and they don't make the game anymore. I only needed it to get to the main menu screen for the exploit to work, and I didn't want to buy/rent the game. I found an EBgames that had it, went there with my mom, asked if I could try it really quick to see if it was the game I wanted, got to the main menu, got the exploit to work, handed it back and said "Sorry, this isn't the game I thought it was." look at some more games for a minute then left, went home and downgraded. I'm evil, but I got what I wanted and didn't spend any money. The woman behind the counter had a WTF look. I guess no one ever asked to TRY the game right there at the store. |

Im not really interested in the PSP, although the thought of being able to play all PS1 games and more does tempt me...Plus, theres the exclusive Sonic games on it... I think i'll only get one if i see it really cheap. But by the time that happens, Sony will probably have a new, obviously not copied from the DS, design called the DSP. |

lol Tom, the DSP. The Sonic Game does tempt me, but I'm not really willing to spend that much money for it. There's no game on the PSP that makes me go "I have to get one, this game is amazing!" I'd rather get a PS2. They're cheep now, they have a bunch of war and FPS shooter games, and the 24 game is on it! |

Lmao, DSP. Let me try to make a list of homebrew off the top of my head: NES, SNES, Genesis, GBA, N64, and PS1 emulators (a DS one is being made. Also, there are more emulators but I can't remember them all) A DDR ripoff with thousands of custom songs available for download Doom 1 (maybe 2 also) 2D Halo (I don't know if its finished, haven't tried it yet) Remotly control your computer (You can see everything as if the PSP screen was the monitor, move the mouse, type in stuff, ect) Control anything with IR (I can control any TV in my house) Quake for the PSP Super Mario Milestone 2 (A supertux mod) Super Mini Mario (A 100% customizable Mario game [there is even a Sonic and Halo version]) Sudoku for PSP (there is a PSP game version and a homebrew version which obviously do the same thing) SmashGPSP (A Super Smash Bros. clone) Openbor (Beats of Rage ported to the PSP) PSP Millionare (Who Wants to be A Millionare for the PSP) Casino Addict (4 Casino games) No Gravity (currently only a demo, its a 3D space shooter. So amazing that it got a spot at E3) Multiple homebrew media players that can play more formats that the PSP can normally. Wordingo (Scrabble [sp?] clone) Luamines (a Lumines clone) Web browser, IM software, PDF, Doc, and txt viewers, YouTube video viewer, ShoutCAST internet-radio, RSS feed viewer. Aaaaaand you can customize the startup text, wallpaper, icons, font, gameboots (the video you see when you start a game/homebrew), and sounds. Thats just some of the best stuff. |

I'm going to quote a few, sorry if they're completely out of order..
Now THAT would be helpful for me. My parents remote always changes the channel, it sucks! ><
That's just cool! I customizable Mario game would rock.
Awesome, custom songs is a HUGE plus. One of my biggest turn off on DDR was the songs, I can't remember any I like..
Scrabble's a fun game I've played it with Britt, and my family was obsessed with it during the power outages, so thats a cool feature for me. Gee Xander, your starting to make me want one.. |

And now all you need is $170 for the PSP and like a $15-$20 memory stick. |
