Because as soon as you get it, it'll be really late, you'll be tired, you may have school/work the next day etc etc etc. I normally just go down the town as soon as school finishes and pick it up. And if i can only get it by pre-ordering, i either buy it off the internet, or pre-order it at GAME and pick it up the next day after school. Anyway, back to Halo. Single player doesnt interest me at all. The graphics are very nice, but im a gameplay over graphics person, so i wouldnt care it it was pixelated. Multiplayer looks like great fun though. I definately need to see it in action.

I haven't seen much Halo multiplayer, I should look on YouTube..

I think people wait in line long hours because its something more than just a game to them. Same with the Harry Potter books. That to some people was more than a book it was an adventure finally coming to a close. Its the same with Halo 3. The series is finally coming to an end and people want to find out that very second. Thats why some people will wait hours to get the game and than spend all of the next day paying it foregoing all social interaction. In some cases though it probably just boils down to obsession. Anyway I love the series. Although I like the gameplay and the graphics look really good I'd have to say the story is what interested me.

I'd like to note I've only played multiplayer, and I did enjoy shooting the heck out of my friend, but that's it. Well, the vechiles are fun aswell. But yeah. Just another fps.

Internet Explorer 7	What other FPS has reasonably balanced futuristic weapons, vehicles that you can drive at any time, all of the customizations with custom games and Forge, the ability to replay both campaign and multiplayer games and being able to freely move the camera around to see all the stuff happen for any angle/distance, AAAAAND they have both aliens and zombies in one game. There is absolutely nothing at all that is even similar to Halo. Especially Halo 3. It is it's own category. BTW, Halo 3 > Halo 2 by leaps and bounds. Don't say anything about Halo 3 if you've only played Halo 2. They are completly different. Online co-op is SOOOOOOOOOOO awesome!

Firefox Age: 16	I haven't played much of Halo, but it did seem like another FPS, I personally felt like I was playing a futuristic Medal of Honor or Call of Duty, but I haven't played enough of it to completely feel like that, so I'm not making an argument.
