Talislanta is a fantasy system that is unlike any fantasy RPG you have ever played. Looking over the rules for the first time, I asked my GM, "Where are the elves? Come to think of it, where are the humans?" He laughed and said, "There are none."
This blew my mind. How do you have a fantasy RPG without even humans?
Very well as it turned out. Race upon race was there for the picking, ranging from elf-like Cymrilians and slave-turned-warrior Thralls to wolf-like Jaka and wandering gambler Rahastrans.
The skills and combat is simple and the magic almost limitless in it's boundaries.
The question is, are you interested?
I know the last forum RPG I posted sucked and went nowhere, but this time I reckon it'll work.

Who voted for Bonsai kittens? lol! that... really wans't meant to be there, but still...

Tabletop roleplaying is done with dice, pencil and paper, but it can be realtively easily adapted to a forum. Talislanta also happens to work off a simple character generation system; just pick a template and there you go.
What sort of things do you need explained?

So...like D&D? I'll pass. I can easily set up a subforum for it if at least one other person wants it.

I could go for something similar to DnD. This is kind of a necro-bump, though. >_>

Oh, geez. You're right. Not that it really matters here. We need all the active topics we can get. Even half-decayed ones.

Lol. I never saw this topic before. I probably wouldn't use it, but others might.

God, this is necromancy at it's best then...
Anyway, Talislanta is very similar to D&D, but the rules system is different as is character creation. Same basic idea though.
Oh, and I really should not have put the Bonsai Kitten thing there, but I am given to believe that Uncylopedia has some very good tips on growing the wee chaps...
