It looks pretty neat, it'd be especially awsome if they had some camera angels that made it really epic to see your opponent riding the wall next to you to the finish line.

Probably because its a spin off game. Meaning its a excuse to stick every Sonic character under the sun in the game. But they're sticking to 16-18 i think, which is a wise decision. It does look cool. I really do hate the main theme though.
