"No...time for...that." Shadic panted. "We...should be...getting out of here." He noticed a convienient escape pod to their left. "Okay...that works." He said. He managed to make his way over to it and activate it. Due to the absence of the soul rune, he could feel himself slowly recovering from the effects. "All aboard." He said. S-mel, who felt like he was rusting, along with the tired Maren and Shaydis, all boarded the surprisingly large pod. |

Lokin helped Tim to his feet, and together they limped into the escape pod along with the others. "Grand Theft Escape Pod?" Lokin laughed as he set Tim down against a wall, "Well yar-har and fiddle-dee-dee, you can call me a pirate!" Tim groaned at the reference. "So, assuming this thing... is built for Repenters," he said warily, eyeing the walls, "how many... of them do you... think would fit in here?" |

Shadic looked around. "Seeing as its a small ship...Not many. The leader probably built it for himself and his closest followers..." S-mel suddenly accidentally pressed a button, and the pod was fired like a cannonball, with a loud WHOOM noise. It was sent spiraling into space...literally, spiraling. |

Tim clutched at a metal bar at the side of the wall. "Don't they know the meaning of seatbelts?" he exclaimed. Lokin looked up from the awkward heap he had fallen into when the escape pod had taken off. "Apparently not," his slightly muffled voice responded bitterly. The Leviathan blinked into existence in the vacuum of space. With a baleful eye, he weighed up the ships, wondering just how much energy he'd require to pull this off. He tapped a small metal square attached to the side of his head, which unfolded into what looked like a highly-advanced headset-microphone and single-eye HUD. "Log Entry: Repenter Crisis Log 6, Foreign invaders from another universe, dimension or reality have made their way into our universe. Current position; Thrynn system. I don't know who or what they think they are, but these abominations must be stopped before they do irreparable damage to the Weave. This ends now. Raising power limit to 9.6 percent. Setting obective to search and destroy operation. Mobilizing!" Another tap to the square and the device collapsed in on itself once more. Inside the largest of the ships, the cyborg hedgehog, General Khazari, noticed the Leviathan flying out in space...(due to the fact that his robotic eye can be used as a telescope) He raised an eyebrow as Leviathan dissapeared. "Well well. This could be getting interesting..." He said. --- S-mel suddenly realized something. "THE POD IS SPIRALING INTO THAT BLACK HOLE!" Lokin staggered to his feet and lurched towards a small control panel mounted on the wall. He tapped a few keys and shook his head. "We don't have nearly as much thruster power as we'd need to escape the gravitational pull," he said, "and escape pods aren't usually fitted with sub-space or warp capabilities. I hate to say it, guys, but I think we may be in a bit of trouble." Timothy collapsed in a dead faint. "Sure didn't see that coming," the cat continued sarcastically, "Moving right along, I guess we have little choice but to engage in musical humour whilst we hurtle to our 75% certain doom." He dug a small harmonica from the depths of his kimono and blew some dust out of it. "I wonder if this thing still works..." |

"Oh boy, we REALLY need a Deus exe machina right about now." S-mel said. He paused. "Wait, I know!" He produced a can of spray paint. Or at least, it looked like spray paint. On the front it had a picture of a black hole with an X over it. On the back it had a small yin-yang symbol with a red slah through it. "Where did you get that?" Shadic said. "I stole it from that ship with that mutant guy on it." S-mel said. "What does it do?" "Dunno. But if its got a black hole crossed out on it, it must do SOMETHING." And so the robot opened the hatch- quickly shutting it behind him a he went into space -And sprayed the can over the pod, finishing as they were about to be sucked in. Quickly he got back inside. "Just in case..." He said, and sprayed the can over himself, Lokin, Shadic, Maren, Shaydis and the unconscious Tim. Afterwards he commented, "Man, this can has a LOT of spray in it." The pod was now being sucked into the hole. They all held their breath, thinking they were all about to die... ...Imagine their surprise when the pod went into the black hole and merely continued onward, completely unharmed. Shadic however remained unsurprised, shrugging and commenting, "Of course we lived. The heroes barely EVER die." Edited by ShadictheHedgehog, Nov 23 2008, 08:57 PM.

Lokin squinted at the hedgehog, then tapped the porthole beside him. "Yeah, but considering the fact that we just travelled through a singularity, who knows where we actually are. Not that I mind having the rest of my life off work," he added, "But it seems to me that we've done to the universe what gamers do with no clipping cheats; we're probably someplace that we're not technically supposed to be in." |

Lokin pressed his face up against the window and gave a low whistle. "This must be where they keep all the deleted items... like the Recycle Bin before it gets..." he paused, and then gulped, "... emptied... You know what? I'm going abandon that train of thought right there." |
