This is one of these Alternate Universe ones... like what would it be like if our characters were powerless? What if they were normal teens, going to a normal school, living normal lives? And then one day they discovered supernatural abilities? But what if more than them discovered them on this day? What if some Villains also got abilities and set off to destroy the world? Remember... everything about your characters is the same... just no attacks and no powers... just normal! The Solar Eclipse is what triggers the power's manifestation. ------- The Eclipse The day had been normal, as usual. Billie had gotten Pepper up by throwing a CD at her and then she had gotten Jake up similarly, just with the DVD box set of 24 Season 6. She claimed that one sucked anyway when Jake yelled at her. They had gone downstairs and eaten breakfast, and then prepared for school with the TV blaring in the background. Billie had her eyes peeled for the weather report, waiting for any signs of the first snow, but instead got an annoying lecture on the Solar Eclipse which was taking place that day. She turned away from the TV and moved for her bag which was hung on the back of a chair. "C'mon guys, we're going to be late." She told them, still grumbling about the lack of snow in November. |

"Coming." Jake muttered, standing up. He grabbed his Algebra book and sighed, he hated that class. Pepper stood up, being her normal, bouncy self. She didn't have to bring any books today, and that made her overly happy. "Ah!" she cried out. "Pepper.. did you just trip on the carpet?" Jake stared, half laughing, at Pepper's ability to trip over the air. "No.. I just.. thought I saw a spider.." she muttered, jumping to her feet. |

"A spider?" Billie asked, laughing aloud. She shook her head and continued to the door, pausing to grab her coat from the hook. She reached for it and retracted her hand suddenly. "Ow, I got shocked." She yelped, shaking off her hand. She then grabbed the coat carefully and put it on. "For these temperatures, its a miracle it hasn't yet snowed!" |

(Hey, since this is an AU, can I use Shadic?) Devlin the Falcon sat boredly in his house watching Television. "Crap, *click* crap, *click* crap *click*...Oprah..." He shuddered, "*click* Oooh, cartoons..." He paused. "Wait, I'm forgetting something...Oh, yeah, today I go to school." He clicked off the TV and got up, grabbed his backpack and coat and heading on out. --- "Ugh...Remind me why WE'RE always the first ones to go to school?" Grumbled Dox. "Because unlike YOU, I see a use for expanding ones intelligence." Para snapped. "So in other words, its because you're a nerd." His brother said, rolling his eyes. "Not quite the term I would use; but if it will shut you up for five minutes, then yes, that is exactly why." Para grumbled. "Honestly, you imbecile, you couldn't be any less sane if you tried." "Oh surrre, the nerd says I'M the insane one...Just because I HAPPEN to like Grand Theft Auto does NOT make me crazy!" Dox said. Para and Dox happened to be walking nearby. "Idiots. Wishing for SNOW. Its merely frozen water droplets falling from the clouds. Whats so exciting about THAT?" Para said. "The same thing that makes armed robbery exciting; Its FUN!" Dox said. "You honestly need to stop playing GTA..." Para commented. "NO! MINE!" Snapped Dox, baring his unusually sharp teeth. |

Billie glanced over at the two and rolled her eyes in their direction with a sigh. "Yeah, giant, bear, twigs. How boring." She laughed, staring off into the sky for the clouds which could form snow, instead she noticed the odd placement of the sun and moon and raised at eyebrow towards them. "Daamn," she started, "would ya look at that." She finished, pointing. |

"Cool, the sun and the moon are about to collide." He said. "I KNEW that one day it would happen. Time to watch the explosion..." OOC: Lol, he's such an idiot. |

Far, far, away... A hedgehog looked up into the sky from an alley, noticing the eclipse. He stared at the eclipse, entranced by it for a reason he couldn't quite put his finger on. He'd just got off work at his family owned business, a Bookstore.(See? Not a watch repair shop, or whatever...Lol) But as he stared at the eclipse, he knew, in the back of his mind, that something was about to change his life... Forever. --- "How lucky are we, Dox." Para said. "Most idiots only see these on TV, yet here we are, in the splendour of Nature, watching one happen." "Yeah. If by nature you mean a sidewalk along a road, you're probably right. Can we please get moving, I was planning on planting cherry bombs in the bathroom..." Dox asked. "No way. I wouldn't miss this for the world." Para said to his brother.
