-Bits of story - Sonic's on vacation from defeating Eggman 2 years ago. Gets a call from Tails that Knuckles has been kidnapped by a group called the Marauders, and that 6 chaos emeralds are missing. Eggman not the main villain. But Bioware wants to make him a creditable bad guy again. Something about a "twist" between Eggman and Sonic that goes back to the earlier games.
-2 acts - first takes place in standard Sonic areas. 2nd takes place in a darker world
-Remixed classic tunes
-"fully animated cut scenes"
-simple dialogue trees
-Side quests

The interview didn't reveal much about the game. Mostly just a "get to know Bioware" for the Nintendo folk. They did basically say that they wanted everyone to love Big The Cat... so I guess he's going to be important. NP questioned them about Wii development and they basically said "go away" in so little words.

Looks great! :D One thing i noticed though, the icon art for Tails, Big, and i think Knuckles, are all the same as their Sonic X art. I reaaaaally hope this game has nothing to do with Sonic X. Im sure it wont, but still...

Who do you think the other 4 party members will be? Im guessing either:

If the story involves time/dimensional travel it will be: Silver, Blaze, Cream and perhaps Omega

If it takes place in the present: Cream, Espio, Charmy, Vector

 Wow, this game looks so cool....I think it involves dimensional travel...But anyways, they say this game takes place 2 years in the future, after Eggman was defeated for the final time or something like that...

Sonic=Mario
Eggman=Browser

They put in a bunch of stupid new villians like in SuperPaper Mario. Add abunch of DARK time diminesel crap. You get superpaper crap. and sonic rpcrap. I think im going to have to skip this game too <_<

 I was begining to wonder when they'd release some information about this. The art looks really pretty. Plus, Robotnik's actually going to be an important villian again. Seriously, I think the last time that happened was Sonic and Knuckles. I really can't wait until this comes out.

And b182, you do realize this is being made by tbioware, the same people who made Mass Effect and many other games that everyone loves. Im sure it'll be brilliant.

Besides, no one thought Mario RPG would be good, but look how wrong they turned out to be.

 Looks pretty neat, shame I don't own a DS. Also, they wanna make Big an important character? It better not be another horrible "OHNOES FROGGY IS TEH KIDNAPSED" storyline just to get him in the game.

Would be nice if they made Robotnik a main Villain again, maybe just once, I don't really count the rush games, both times he was teamed up with his alternate dimension counterpart/future descendant/whatever, Nega.

 ...Shade looks cool... ...Shade ISN'T a hedgehog... ...Shade has these two things and has a KEY ROLL... ...Someone must've broken something in the Sonicverse for this to happen. Mind you, by the looks of things she's a rabbit under that armour, and knowing Sonic Team they've probably just made it Creams dark world counterpart, thus screwing us out of the first possibly cool character which isn't a hedgehog we've seen since... Hmmm... Sonic and Knuckles?
