Actually, no. I've heard all across the net that even the people who hated Sonic 06 said this is a good game. It got mostly positive reviews everywhere! It seems the game did pretty well, actually. |

The chao garden is awful, I wouldn't buy it just for that. Its only there to store the chao you can equip to characters, can't interact with them at all other than that (As far as I could tell). Other than that, the story starts off slow, but gets good in the second half of the game. The characters actually feel like they have a lot of depth, (Shadow isn't emo at all and Big is well...Big, having him in your party for all the retarded comments he makes is quite fun). My main problem was with the combat, having to do those annoying stylus commands for every ability in the game was tedius by the time I got to the end. Not a bad Sonic game, could have done much more on a console instead of a handheld, maybe they will consider it for the sequel. Edited by Creed, Oct 15 2008, 07:50 AM.

I just hope the 'elite beat agents' style combat isn't hard to figure out...I once played a demo of EBA and I couldn't even figure out how to do ONE thing... ... Then again, that was a good few years ago... |

It's actually quite good. The powers aren't as crap as they were made out to be (although Cream is seriously broken; with her in your party, you WILL rule the world) and the rhythm action isn't too hard once you use a POW Move once or twice. Rhythm action only needed for POW Moves and to avoid enemy POWs. *deep voice* Amy gets Looooow Blooooow, ohhhhhhh yeaaaaaaaaaaaaah. Lotsa damage. In the words of Link, "GREAT!" The game relies heavily on the dialogue though, but it's worth it. You can make really snide comments to characters you don't like and can be really nice to the characters you DO like. And if you're an anti-social sort, you can insult everyone. Teehee. Chao garden is gay. Shadow is gay, as is Big. Big's dialogue is so retarded you could make a Youtube Poop out of his lines. MY FACE ITCHES! |

If you ever get the game, do not, I repeat, do NOT spend ANY points on Chaos Rift! At Chaos Rift III (highest level), there's a 60% chance of instant kill, but it NEVER works! So, provided you NEVER use Chaos Rift, he has five POW Moves; from memory (it's been a while since I've played it now...) he only has ONE POW Move that he can use on his own (excluding Fag... I mean, Chaos Rift). The other four moves require other people. Now, Chaos Blast isn't too bad seeing as it requires Sonic, who's always in your party anyway, but the other three... if I remember right, they all need Rouge, who is a complete waste of space and dies WAY too easily. I swear the enemies are sexist vs women; they always attack women first! Also, he just comes across to me as the biggest tool in the game, excluding Eggman himself. "What's your point?" this and "What's your point?" that... *mimes strangling* Yes, he's meant to be anti-social and whatnot, but even I can't comprehend the level of 'Hmph' that he emanates. It doesn't help that his idle stance makes him look like he has a broom shoved up his spoon. Oh, and his Dash sucks and his Teleport sucks; if you want Dash, use Sonic. If you want Teleport, use Shade (she's much better than Shadow... mmmmmm-MMMM!). |

Well, I got the game, and it IS awesome. Chao Garden IS gay. Its remarkably easy to level up your health bar, all of my characters are only level 4 and they're nearing 100 HP... Shadow is KIND of annoying, but I don't find him that bad. Omega kicks more arse than ever. Shade...well, I don't know. Don't have her yet. Amy is epic. I gave her lightning powers. Here that, LC?
