The world of SC seems to be doing pretty well for itself really doesn't it? I mean, it's been a month, maybe two since some vicious enemy has decided 'Hey, y'know what? Let's go terrorize a bunch of teenagers with unexplained powers!' Well, the teenagers have had a good enough break. Lets let the fun continue... -------------------- "So tell me... what is it that you fear...?" "Well... what everyone fears really... death..." "No, no, no, no!" the phsychologist got to his feet and started pacing up and down the room, "Everyone fears death. That's a simple fact. But there are things in life that people fear so much... fear so badly... that death itself is something that they beg for." "I... don't feel comfortable talking about it..." "Nobody does. But come on, you can trust me, I AM your school psychologist, and it's my job to listen." "I know doctor, but..." the wolf slowly got to his feet, "Tom won't want me talking about it..." The doctor slowly nodded. "I understand, but we're not going to get to the bottom of this problem till you can get over this..." he glanced at his watch "However much I hate to say it, I believe this sessions over. I'll see you next week, same time, yes?" "Yeah..." the wolf murmured to himself "I guess..." and then he walked out. |

Afternoons... the city was always so full of life. Business men at their lunch breaks, housewives finally deciding to venture out and do their shopping... The streets were always packed full of people. No one would ever notice a student from the local high school out and about, blending in with the crowd. At least that's how Raiden pictured it. The husky was on lunch break from his classes. He was seated atop a wall on school grounds, watching traffic speed into the city. The buildings were off in the distance... Raiden wanted to get out of school and into the city. Unfortunately the kid was smart enough to know that he needed to finish school before he could ever be truly free. He sighed, looking at the clock. His break was almost over, which meant that he would soon be back inside Mrs. Krupp's math class, listening to her yell at the others for getting the answers wrong, while he had already finished learning the chapter by himself... |

As the wolf left the psychiatrists office, he went to a nearby wall, and sat down with his back against it. Great... he thought to himself New school, and I've already lost half of my first break talking to the psychiatrist... He was weird... A thought suddenly hit him, causing him to swing his bag off of his back and rummage through it hastily. Eventually he calmed as he lifted a small metallic orb out of his bag, about the size of a baseball. It was seperated into two halves, and as he twisted the top half clockwise, it clicked, and red light shone through the crack. "10:12 am," he spoke into the ball, brushing back some black fur, "Spent most of break talking to psychiatrist. He spent the first half of our meeting talking about his theories on how the mind works, then he asked what my fear was. I didn't tell him. He seemed kind of... crazy..." suddenly, the bell rang out, "Well, there goes the bell, I have maths next, so I probably won't have much to tell you in the next recording. Cya..." and with that he clicked the ball back into place, and got ready to begin the rest of his day. -------------------- The doctor sat, both hands crossed over, staring at the 'corpse' which lay before him. "I tried... I tried ever so hard..." he murmured "But you weren't right. It shouldn't be so hard. I'm a psychiatrist, I've looked into how the mind works for years, I know how these things should work. But you're dead. Just like all my other attempts..." he brushed the 'corpse' into the bin at the side of his desk, "Fear is the key. Every living thing has to have fear... now how do you create fear?" The teddy bear simply stared back from it's new home in the bin. |

Raiden swung his bag over his shoulder and hopped off of the wall. The new kid sure was odd. He thought to himself after spotting the kid at the bottom of the wall speaking into what he thought was his hand. He shook his head and turned for the inside of the school. Once inside he turned right and stopped at his locker. After grabbing his book he proceeded down the hall and up a flight of stairs before sopping before the door to the math room. Mrs. Krupp was seated at her desk, looking through he math book. Raiden sat in his spot in the back corner and took his iPod out, hoping she would not notice. |

Pepper sat in the back of math class, bored out of her mind. She didn't pay attention in that class.. she didn't even know what subject it was.. and yet, she somehow was passing with an A. She was scribbling down song lyrics in her small notebook. "Pepper, what's the answer to this problem?" "24!" she shouted, not looking up. "Very good!" the teacher scribbled another problem on the bored without Pepper noticing. Jake sat on the other side of the room and slapped his forehead. "How the hell does she do that?! She's got a higher grade then me and she's never opened the book!" "Jake, what's the answer to this problem?" "Uh.. um.." Jake studied the bored. "48?" "Wrong! How about you Pepper?" "27!" Pepper shouted again, not looking. "Very good! Jake, you should take lessons from her! In fact, I think I'm going to pair you two up for tutoring." "What?!" Jake's jaw dropped. "NO!" "Not another word about it!" Jake slumped back into his chair as Pepper gave him a look from across the room. Jake grabbed his phone and sent her a text. "You're dead." |

OOC: XDXDXDXD!!! I laughed my a*s off!!! Billie high fived Pepper, from beside her. She laughed at Jake's text and looked back down at her desk. She had bacon on a plate from break. Mrs. Krupp looked down at her. "Billie!" She jumped up. "Paramore?!" "Is that bacon?" "No, turkey bacon. Want some?" "No I don't want some! Put it away!" "If you say so." Billie shrugged and shoved the plate off of her desk and into the guy in front of her's backpack without him noticing. Raiden rolled his eyes. It was common knowledge that Billie was one of the biggest troublemakers. She often did random things to get in trouble. He looked over to Pepper... the lucky one. She could get any answer right without even looking in the book... and they were all random numbers she'd shout. He sometimes wished his life was that simple... |

Tsurugi leaned back, stifling a yawn as she rested her feet on the back of Zippo's chair. Even though he was way younger than the rest of the class, he was probably better at math than the entire class combined. "Tsurugi, what's the answer to number this problem?" Mrs Krupp asked. Tsurugi stared blankly at the problem on the board for a few seconds, and was about to give a random number for an answer when Zippo leaned back and whispered the answer to her. "512." "Yes. Very good." Tsurugi was about to thank Zippo, when he turned back and said, "No need to thank me. Just get your feet off the back of my head." Tsurugi grinned and replied. "Fair enough." as she poked him with the tip of her foot before putting her feet back on the ground. |
