OCC: Well I want to make a simple battle just to get to know ya more, I see that you people are making a game and since this is something that I never heard of I felt like joining in just to take a look and see the impovement of the game with my character Escudo, but that won't look good since I have just joined here, I may know a few of ya here and there but the others I don't which is my mission to let ya know me so that everyone could feel conforable to see me in the game (If there is hope to join) So yeah... Please bring in who ever you wish for battle, at this momment I will use Escudo, Soto, and Esperanza will have to wait some other time XP. It was now a sunny Friday afternoon, there was Escudo, the Summoner just walking around a area that was filled with rocks that only seemed to have a small river flowing toward a destination that was to far for one eye to reach. Escudo didn't have time to care about the environment that he was in because he had to do something that he sometimes must do in order to get himslef some cash, which was to fight a certain person, at a certain location. He really doesn't understand what is the point of fighting so many people, he wasn't the type that enjoys fighting that much because he thinks it is always a waste of time, but what can he do at this momment? It was a mission that was requested by a client that wanted to see this battle with his own eyes. Escudo may not know where he is at now, but for some reason he knows that he is here since he was asking this white hedgehog many times to battle this certain person that will be around here at this point of time. Due to knowing that he has the money to pay up for seeing this fight, caused Escudo to have no choice but to head there and hopefully end this pointless battle that he always seem to get into at times. He wasn't the type that likes to fight because it is fun, instead it is just for the money so that he can collect and use it for the things that he wish to do in the future. Escudo's eyes were closed, as he always had his black shades, covering his black eyes so that no one can see them just in case if he opens them to see someone, or something. Each step that he took made a rocky sound, causeing for Sombra to obviously notice that what he is stepping on is just pure rocks, nothing else but that, he really didn't need to use his own eyes to tell snice he can use his own feet to determine what he is stepping on. He really hoped for this fighter to be more closer than where he already is at so that he could walk back in a more faster time due to seeing this tendinous heat that is blazing to the ground that was created by no other than the sun itself, but hey it is the summer time, so there is no need to complain about it since this is how the world that Escudo dislikes works. The shining, burning light was indeed getting the location a bit to hot for one to handle, there was no shades around from a distance, making this white hedgehog feel like if he was walking around a desert where there was nothing but the sand, and blazing sun. A sigh appeared from his mouth, as he intended to realise some of the hot air that was sealed inside his mouth, he sure needed something like this since he has already begin to feel a bit too uncomfortable in this area where he has to battle in, but it feels Kinna pointless to blame it to the area, so he decided to just let that side, and move on by walking even more further toward the destination that he must go in order to stat this fight. Escudo was not able to know that much about his opponent that he is now going to battle, there was no piece of information given from that guy about today's foe, all he wanted was to see the fight, but this wasn't what Escudo really wanted... He always prefer to think ahead from everyone, in other words he always wants to be a step or two head of his opponent, it was his style, and he pretty much enjoys it since it proves many fighters that they are nothing but idiots, only believing in their power, without using their own mind to think. Without saying a single word from all this time walking, the white hedgehog was finally able to find the opponent that he had to fight or today, Escudo just looked at him for a while, noticing how tall he stood. It was like if he was well determined to handle this battle that is about to occur, but the question is if that he can handle the pressure of his summoning spirits, and also try to think ahead og this intelenet hedgehog that was created as a life from? That question will only appear until the time when he proves what he can really do, so without much said Escudo appeared a few feet away from his foe, not caring to look at him, or say a word to him, instead he kept his stance, just waiting to hear, or see what will he do now, Attack? or talk? There was so many ideas that one can do at the start of a battle, but can he figure out something that is unique, something that can actually surprise this summoner? OOC: Yeah I made a small serenary that you will be in that locaation of rthe battle, good luck to the one that is ready to fight ^^ |

ChaosBolt took a long stare at his opponent, then held out his hand. "The names ChaosBolt. You?" The white hedgehog stared, then lifted his head up slightly a dully replied, "Escudo." CB withdrew his hand and looked around, "So, uhh, why exactly am I here?" "I'm here to fight you." "Is that so?" ChaosBolt asked, taking a few steps back, "Well then, so be it." ChaosBolt took a fighting stance while Escudo remainted still, silently observing. There was a light pressure of someone tapping on Escudo's shoulder. He turned just enough to see that no one was there only to return foward to CB lunging for a quick jab in the face. |

Sombra pretty much said nothing toward this fighter, unforunatly he needed to fight this person for some good information about him, of course he wasn't important but it was always wise to get all the information that one can get because there might be a time that one will regret and that is what Escudo could not allow, so he really had no other choice but to fight him and learn stuff about him. He wanted to close his eyes in order to try and see what can he do first, but it seems when he did so something happened that got Sombra to notice something,,, The information that was just now gained was his great speed, Sombra was not able to notice how he done that, but by knowing how many feet away he was, he could easily estimate the equation of how he should doge it in the next time when he sees this come at him once more. The white hedgehog thought that he will just give him that light feeling of pressure on his right side shoulder, of course that was something that he didn't like, so he dicded to turn around and began to view the opponent that was standing there now, There was no response, all I know that he is going to unleash powerful punch right at the start of this battle and that did not seem to be a good idea, with that said he simply moved it a feet away like any normal person. |

ChaosBolt stumbled nearly to the floor as Escudo dodged the blow, then took his right arm and made a slashing movement with his arm, as if to cut something with his nails. A grey portal formed in front of him and CB dashed through, the portal closing behind him. Sombra remained cool while he looked around. Only rocky ground everywhere. He closed his eyes and listened. A whispy sound came from behind him and Escudo slid to the left, dodging ChaosBolt as he lunged once again after emerging from a portal. Once again Escudo only observed as CB ran through another portal. This time five portals opened a good 15 feet away all around Escudo with a ChaosBolt emerging from each one. They all smirked and said in unison, "So which one is real?", then charged foward. Edited by Xander, Jun 21 2008, 01:33 AM.

OOC: You cannot make my character do stuff that you want, no matter if you allowed him to doge the attack, you still cannot control him without permission. As soon when Escudo was able to avoid the attack that was made for him, he began to notice a strange power that was now shown inside his opponent, indeed there was no way explaining how in the world he can create portals in such a fast amount of time, it is pretty impressive at frist sight, but now seeing this just got Sombra into knowing a bit more about his foe, and if this keeps up he will know more, but since his opponent has no idea that he is getting studied there won't be any problems for Escudo himslef to change his plans, and that is something that he doesn't like that much. All he was able to do at the momment was stand at the same place where he is now at when he frist dodged his foes attack, he looked around the area to see if he was able to spot him. At the momment he was no where to be found, it was odd to see a fighter disappear like that so quickly, but this white hedgehog already knows knows how and that is all because of the portals that he uses in order to get up to people to wherever he want. In other words he can reach to others without the need for someone to interfere his track of hitting the opponent, it was indeed a great teaching for him to use because now Sombra will now have no other choice but to cancel one of his ideas about trying to attack him head on. Knowing thats gone doesn't still mean that this will be a hard battle, there are a lot more ideas that are in stored inside the mind of this hedgehog all he needs to do is just come up with more just in case if something happens, so with that set in his thoughts, Sombra closed his eyes and began to use his environment as his music, one disturbing sound will only make it obvious that it came from his foe since he is the only one moving at the momment. As the seconds began to move on with it's normal time, all that Sombra was hearing were to sounds of the tress moving their leaves to the left side by the thanks of the wind that seem to be strong today, he also began to hear birds sing a little from a distance, it was low, but enough to tell Escudo that they are there. Everything at this momment was going great until a sound appeared which does not link at all to what he was hearing before, with that heard inside the ears of this hedgehog, he qickly began to make another move which was a roll to the right side. As he did that, he looked toward the location where he once was to see if his target was there, but once again he was unable to see him in sight. "Speed limit of entering in phase 2 seems like 0.47 seconds..." He said in his thoughts, keeping it in mind, as he took out a moonlight card from his jacket, but kept his hand inside to not show what he was having on his arm. When his turn was played, he looked around and realized that at a matter of 15 feet, portals appeared around him, keeping Sombra to feel like he is now cornered. He knows very well making a movement will only cause him to allow his target to know that he is going to attack, so he dicded to just stand still, and wait for something while ignoring his foes words. |

[Sorry, when I'd RP before and what I've seen recently no one really minded others minorly controlling their characters. Like simple movements and short sentences as long as it was something they'd do. CB's abilities make for a good defence, not offence. So it would help if Sombra used what knowledge he's gotten and attacked back.] The five ChaosBolts ran foward, then made a sharp turn left causing them to all circle around Sombra. Of course, the true CB was looking down through a portal at the white hedgehog from about three yards off the ground and slightly behind him, out of sight. The five illusion kitsune continued to circle around Sombra as ChaosBolt readied a pistol he created in his Void and aimed through the portal. Ready to fire. [I don't know if it was in CB's bio or not, but his 'Void' is where his portals lead. It is more or less his own mind, so he has total control of it and can do or create whatever he pleases, but anything that leaves the Void that was created there disappears within a second, so a bullet would hit, but not be lodged in the victim. It also would hit at a lesser velocity, so the damage done is less than if it were a real gun. Just a heads up incase Escudo takes a hit.] Edited by Xander, Jun 22 2008, 01:26 PM.

Escudo was now into a sate that he had to attack, if he continued to stand there, he will just get attacked, and this time it won't be just one person, but 5 of them. Sombra was able to notice that his foe has speed, but he never imagined that he could go this fast, but no matter how fast one can go, Escudo will still be able to see it with his sharp eyes, and by the thanks of using them he knew very well that he was surrounded by 15 feet. He can do what he wishes at the momment, but it seems that he doesn't want to since his opponent will be watching him. "I guess I have no choice but begin the attack" He spoke inside his thoughts, letting go a moonlight card from his hand so that he can allow it to land on the ground floor, seeing it placed and set, he quickly jumped back a few feet away, it wasn't more further than 15 feet, but ti was enough to get away from the impact that is about to happen in a few seconds... After when he felt it was time, the white hedgehog snapped his fingers, only causeing an explosion to appear at the center of his area, seeing that set, he qickly moved inside and began to do more tricks... Due to the smoke there might be no chance that his foe can be able to see what he is about to do. Seeing this opportunity, Escudo once again took out his cards, but this time it's more than one, it's many. At the very second he had his cards on his hands he began to toss them around in different directions with great speed, some were around the 15 feet, others might have been even more. It was a set that he have planed, and when he was done, he closed his eyes once more, and waited for his foe to make another move, a move that will cause Sombra to attack at this very momment, no matter if he is on defense, or offense. |

The smoke created from the moonlight card left ChaosBolt with no clear shot from his pistol. He tossed the now useless weapon aside and leapt down into the thick smoke below. ChaosBolt then created the illusion of massive flames all around the area where he stood and where he figured Sombra would be. CB spoke into the abyss of smoke, "So why are you here to fight me?" No response. He then furthered the thickness and size of the smoke with an illusion. "Who is paying you?" The kitsune demanded, sending the fake flames higher into the air. An odd looking card was under his foot, but ChaosBolt simply kicked it aside, not knowing of its power. "Talk to me!" ChaosBolt screamed. The smoke, which at this point was all an illusion due to the original smoke having left by now, blocked out near all the light except that which came from the flames. Walls of fire created a small arena. The illusion he was creating even let off a fake sense of heat, the false smoke choking Escudo. CB's power was wearing thin, though. His physical strength wasn't close enough to fight Sombra head on and ChaosBolt knew that. Fear and intimidation wasn't working, plus the kitsune had no knowledge of the trap that was set for him. |
