Tsurugi pushed her way through the crowd that was gathered around the park. As she neared the front of the crowd, she caught sight of Vincent sitting and reading, as if there were nothing out of the ordinary going on. "Hey, Vincent!" she called, waving her hand in the air in an attempt to draw attention to herself. Failing to catch the wolf's attention, she pushed a few more people out of the way and soon found herself at the front of the crowd. "Hey," she began again, but stopped when she saw the impish thing that had stolen Vincent's book. "What is that?" she asked, pointing at the imp. |

"Well, to answer your first question, no, I suppose I didn't." tossing the book over his shoulder it landed just inches from falling into the abyss, only for it to nudged off the side by the imp. "As for your second question, I need some people to find some things, it'd be a great help if you did." Listening for the book like he did with the rock, he turned back towards Vincent. "That really is a deep hole, huh? |

Devlin and the hedgehog duo were next to arrive. The two hedgehogs walked up to the hole. "Can I shove someone in? PLEEEEEEEASE?" Dox begged. "No. Not yet." Para said impatiently. "Strange...what could've..." He randomly glanced around, noticing the small group formed of Vincent, the Imp, and Tsurugi. "...I shouldn't have asked." He sighed. They walked over to the trio. "I'm assuming one of you has at least a vague idea of whats up with this?" Para said to them, pointing at the hole. Devlin walked over. "Hi- Whoa, an imp. This is a weird day, man." The falcon said. "Lovely party, pity I wasn't invited." Creed said aloud to himself as he surveyed the scene. Lets see, we've got some sort of impish creature and a bunch of overly enthusiastic people standing around a giant black hole in the middle of a park. Sounds like a normal day to me! he snickered at his own 'joke' It's like I'm compelled by an unseen force to arrive at the scene of some sort of disaster every time I decide to come to this place. "Oh well, might as well just go with it" Creed reasoned with himself before forcing his way through the crowd of people. "Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen" Creed sarcastically commented as he reached the gathering in the center. "So...what?" He gestured towards the imp and the giant hole behind it. |

Vincent shrugged slightly at everyone's questions. "Seems to think we want to find something or other for him..." he turned back to the impish creature, "Sorry to burst your bubble, but I'm not interested..." he let a subtle smile creep onto his face, "I mean, you lost my page." |

The imp gave Para and Dox an odd stare. Hmm... Turning his attention back to Vincent, he returned his slight smile with his sharp toothed one. "Well, you see, you don't have much say in this. Because if you don't go on my fetch quest, well, this hole's gonna kill you." Looking over the group that had quickly formed in the around him, his sly grin grew in a slight smile. "Perfect, there's more than enough volunteers, you all should get going now." |

"What!? NO! I WANT the hole to kill him!" Dox cried. "Fetch quest, huh? Well, its not like I have anything BETTER to be doing...hence the whole reason I'm HERE..." Devlin said. "Hmm?...oh, right. I suppose that slipped my mind." Pointing a long and rather pointy finger at the ground, a small bolt of lightning shot from his fingertips. "There's about four of them you see, somewhere around the world..." Something that looked like a tear drop was burned into the grass. "I probably wouldn't be able to get them all fast enough, so you guys can do that." Continuing his explanation, he burned a circle into the ground and began marking Xs in it. "They should be somewhere around here, here, and here. Since the hole opened up here, that means that the first one should be here." Finishing up, he clenched his fist and the spark at the tip of his finger died out. "So, get to it. Go on now, shoo."

With an air of finality, the arcanist snapped the small mirror in his hand shut, cancelling the scrying spell he had cast on it. He grinned, an expression caught somewhere between 'smug' and 'eager', as he tucked it into an interior pocket in his coat. "Well well well... I wonder just what all this is all about," he muttered. Whatever those things are, they would have to be pretty important for a stunt like this to be pulled over them. My parapsychologist's senses tell me that I should get my hands on them before that creature does... Even if it means going through those guys... No, don't think about it that way... If I act fast, chances are things won't come to that. Question is... what's the fastest way I can get to the first artefact? Stepping quickly, Timothy made his way back down the road. If he was going to take a short jaunt around the world, he was going to need some luggage. And also some money. Oh hell... |
